fraternity brothers usually get to be very old --
it must be all the wholesome beer we drink!

even the 60 year-old Alter Herr can challenge a young
pledge (Fuchs), which usually is won by the fox. |

Hunting in Germany with my German hunting license from
Göttingen -- but it is nicer to look than to shoot. That!s why
I have not shot in the last ten years. |
|
Of all hunting activities, I always cherished playing
the hunting horn - from the safety signals to the "Jagd vorbei",
"Steckenblasen" and "Zum Essen". Four or five
hunting horns and a parforce horn playing together make for a lovely
musical experience. No wonder that Haydn, Mozart and others composed
hunting symphonies with plenty of horns. |
