I also lectured to 65 eager students for a wonderful week, and spent hours visiting the Musée Bardo and its most impressive mosaic collection. Wish I could reproduce the wonderful Sousse mosaic depicting Vergilius (70-19 b.c.) flanked by the Muse of history Clio, and the muse of tragedy, Melpomene, or the Ulysses mosaic on his sailboat, tied to the mast. There's a lot of Roman, Christian and Islamic culture in Tunis, the magnificent Catholic Cathedral at Carthage, built on the hill where St. Louis (King Louis IX of France, 1214-1270) died during his unsuccessful crusade, and the charming blue-and-white village of Sidi Bou Said, on the Mediterranean coast..

Spanish	Finally I have uploaded my Spanish lectures on the jurisprudence of the Human Rights Committee, held at the University of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid). Click here for the text (in Spanish only). The same was publsihed as a chapter in Carlos Jiménez Piernas (ed) Iniciación a la práctica en Derecho internacional, Madrid, 2003. An English version of the book will appear in 2005 with Martinus Nijhoff, the Hague. I again lectured in Alcalá in November 2004, and visited the Casa Natal de Don Miguel de Cervantes. Alcala is a UNESCO world heritage site. My lectures on the international protection of minority rights will be uploaded shortly. In 2005 the 400th anniversary of the publication of Don Quijote will be celebrated all over Spain.
